Nesta (The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) has piloted their first scheme whereby they offer grants to Greater Manchester SME's to invest in creative services such as design.
This scheme has been a tremendous success and has helped all parties involved, both SME's and design agencies. As one of Manchester's technical digital agencies, CTI has found the scheme to have been particularly successful as we have secured two new clients Beanstalk Telecom and Aquacut.
Amidst much competition, both of CTI's proposals were successful and work is already on the way in order to design and develop new websites for both Aquact and Beanstalk Telecom. The initiative, which granted £5,000 to the SME's involved in the scheme, has shown that digital agencies in the North West don't only work with high-profile companies and are interested in continuing to work with smaller organisations.
