Flash Developer Wanted

Working within a small team of Flash developers you will be required to contribute on a diverse number of projects. You must be able to collaborate on a team basis and work directly with clients; participating in meetings and contributing where applicable.

Candidates should be prepared to present a portfolio of work with their application.

The minimum skills required for applicants to be considered are below:

ActionScript

Basic graphic design skills

Motion graphics experience

Graphics import experience

Optimization of code and graphics

Basic Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks skills

Fundamental understanding of video and audio compression

Programmatic motion experience Experience of working with Flash timelines

Understanding the integration of Flash with HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Must be familiar with Object Oriented Programming

Must be familiar with coding standards Familiar with integration with XML, JSON, and SOAP

Experience with FlexBuilder, FDT or FlashDevelop is preferable.

Must have fundamental mathematical skills including understanding of exponents and basic trigonometry i.e. Sine, Cosine and atan2.

Interviews will consist of a one-on-one session with the Marketing Director. Those that pass the initial stage will then interview with our Senior Flash Developer. Both portions of the interview may occur during the candidate’s first visit.
