INTERNET design and development agency CTI Support Network has added to its list of creative arts clients with the Actor’s Centre North (ACN) website.
The ACN site has been revamped to allow the centre to attract more sponsorship and foster greater participation without the need for on-going support. Open source technology – drupal for the content management system and php based code – offers the potential for the site to become vibrant and easily adaptable and updateable for years to come.
The Actor’s Centre North provides specialist, often unique, training and support to professional actors in theatre, television, film and radio. The Manchester based organisation caters for thespians from the Midlands right up to Yorkshire. Its patrons are Corrie actors David Neilson (Roy Cropper) and Sarah Lancashire (Raquel) and Likely Lads star Brigit Forsyth (Thelma). Support is offered by Robert Powell, Royal Exchange executive director Pat Weller and financially by the Arts Council, the BBC and Five.
Vicky Rutter assistant centre manager of the Actor’s Centre North comments: “CTI delivered exactly what we asked for and with great support. Nick and his team even wrote a reference manual especially for us.”
Steve Bower a director at Actor’s Centre Northern and managing director of digital agency Seven Communications ads: “CTI’s skill really shone through in building a sophisticated website, but making it really easy to use.”
Nick Rhind managing director of CTI Support Network comments: “We have quite a record in the creative arts sector, but we also work with top corporates and many North West’s marketing agencies. I suppose you could say we are versatile.”
