CTI claims world first with Oracle portal

CTI Support Networks has finished work on what it believes is the first comprehensive portal dedicated to the people working for and with the world’s largest enterprise software company, Oracle.

The site, found at www.oraclelink.com, has been built to provide business and IT professionals with an information source, a business tool and a way of interacting with the huge Oracle community through forums and blogs.

CTI ups numbers to 16

CTI Support Network has boosted its payroll to 16 members of staff with the addition of four new faces to the Manchester-based team.

Steven Bakhtiari, formally of Fluid Creativity, who takes up the role of senior developer on Java and Drupal based projects.

In addition Chris Belfield and Alison Hover have come on board as senior developer and new media developer respectively.

Answer: “A survey in IT Pro Portal estimated that about a third of businesses have banned staff using social media at work.

CTI Support Network were robbed during the early hours on Sunday morning. We applogise to all clients for any disruption to communication over the period on Monday, CTI were backup and running on Tuesday. CTI enforce a strict backup p9olicy which ensures that all data is backed up on a regular basis so the robbery has only caused a slight disruption to normail service.

All CTI projects are on track and we are delighted to report we are also looking to expand some more

The ACN site has been revamped to allow the centre to attract more sponsorship and foster greater participation without the need for on-going support.
