Dale Street fire software company busier than ever with new account wins
CTI Support Network Limited, the software company that relocated to Chorlton after the Dale Street fire, has bounced back from disaster with a raft of new business wins.
The software enterprise run by Chorlton’s Nick Rhind had relocated from its Manchester base to his basement as featured by The Reporter on the 3rd May.
Since the fire on the 30th April, CTI has enjoyed a steady succession of client wins making May and June very successful months, despite some expected disruption.
The new client wins include marketing agency HCL, architects Taylor Design, data suppliers Consumer Contacts, psychotherapists Synthesis and property consultants Bridgestone Surveyors. CTI has also found time to launch Web Saves the Day; a quality fixed price no nonsense web solutions service for smaller businesses shortly.
CTI was located in the second building affected by the blaze and lost some valuable paperwork and computers. However, the software enterprise had taken the precaution to back up all key data and has come through the event relatively unscathed.
The basement office, set up some time ago as part of the disaster recovery programme, has dedicated broadband and servers and had enabled the CTI team to work on projects until a more permanent home could be found.
That home has now been secured, CTI has just moved into new premises on Tariff Street just a stone’s throw from the burnt out premises on Dale Street.
Nick Rhind the managing director of CTI comments: “I really like living in Chorlton and it was good to work from home for a while, but having the CTI team in your kitchen every day was a bit much.”
