Due to the sheer volume of awesome projects that we have coming up we are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and talented PHP developers to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in
- PHP 5+ including 5.3
- MySQL 5+
- OOP design patterns and principles
- Database design and administration
- Version control systems (please provide list of systems used)
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems and tools
- X/HTML including HTML5
- CSS 2/3
- Javascript and one or more associated JS frameworks
Additionally the following while not essential to a developer would improve chances of being hired.
- Additional languages (Java, C, Python, Ruby, Bash)
- Experience of ExtJS
- Visible Contributions back to an open source project community
- Experience with Zend Framework
- Experience with Drupal
- Experience with Magento
- Server administration experience (*nix not windows)
A successful candidate would be working with the our PHP Development Team to help deliver a wide variety of sites/applications.
The position we are looking for is a developer position but a strong enough candidate may be offered a senior position with the opportunity to progress to a lead developer position for the right person.
Because we are looking at all grades of developer the salary is negotiable. As a rough guideline our developer positions generally start from £22k and work their way up depending on how good you are. All you need to do is prove your worth to get the salary you want.
